Revista Cerrados Unimontes , vol. Abstract: The proposed article aims to highlight the traces of peculiar territorialization movements performed by the money-earling slave and Creoles in the constitution of the cantos de trabalho and the batuques de lazer scattered throughout the city of Salvador in the nineteenth century. It is believed that these subjects, in other times, have fed a complex network of multicultural articulation that contributed to the formation of territories of resistance and, consequently, to the organization of uprisings and insurrections against the current economic model, which in geographic scope makes the debate relevant considering the scarcity of sources about the different geographies of black people in Brazil pre-abolition. For that, the discussion here was delineated, based on bibliographical studies inherent to the theme presented.

Idiomas P. ABSTRACT: The paper discusses practices and black sociability expressions in Pernambuco Province in the first half of the nineteenth century, understanding them as educational institutions created by the black population. Therefore, we did a documentary research to identify some forms of social organization, analyzing their political capacity and educational importance. Among these associative arrangements, we observed the role of some black fraternities of the Province in constructing autonomous alternatives of social and political life facing the slaving reality. The educational factor is a fundamental dimension of associative dynamics, allowing the sharing of values and knowledge among its members. So, these organizations are constituted as instances of educability and identity affirmation for the population of Africans and black people born in Brazil.
